Honeymoon in Hawaii?
joshua h asked:
My fiance’ and I are looking into a honeymoon in Hawaii on 10/05/2008. We were thinking of staying on maui. Can anyone tell me what are good resorts to stay at on that island, that are near by to activities such as zip lines, snorkeling, atv, horseback riding and golf. Also nearby to bars and restaurants. Thanks for any help.

Not sure where you are coming from but here is an estimate for a 4 star resort for 5 nights. The rate includes a lei greeting, roundtrip airport/resort transfers, 5 nights accommodations in an oceanview room at the Wailea Beach Marriott, daily breakfast, and applicable lodging taxes(note that the resort – as many of them there do – has a resort fee of I believe $20/day/person that is additional). Total is around $1609.00/couple! Not too bad. Some other resorts that are good are Royal Lahaina – 4 star, Kapalua Villas – 31/2 star, Sheraton Maui – 5 star, Westin Maui – 5 star, Hyatt Regency – 5 star.
As for nightlife, yes there is some, but it is somewhat limited. Many head to Casanova’s or Maui Brews.
Dining – check out these…..
Manana Garage
Cafe O’Lei
Charley’s Restaurant
Hali Maile General Store
Hula Grill
I hope this helps. Congrats and all of the best to you both.

What wonderful idea!!
I am italian and I spend my honeymoon in Maui last january.
The Grand Wailea is a very important and beautiful hotel.
I stay at the and I have a wonderful remember.
You can see the whale, you can swim with the water turtle and with the dolphin.
You must go to Hana, a small town in the forest.
You can go to the Volcan.
You can do everything!!
If you need something more write me.
Bye.
